Born in Newcastle Australia and graduated with a

Degree in Fine Arts and also a Degree in Education.
Taught as an Art teacher for just a couple of years before relocating to Adelaide.

In 1999 I establishing an Advertising and Design Agency

with my founding partner Cate Robinson. After winning numerous design and print awards including a National Award for Brand Creative we then closed our agency between the GFC and the Global Pandemic.
Also, from the late 90's up until 2019 I periodically lectured in design institutes teaching design principles, user-centric design thinking, and applied design process.

In 2019, I started investing the majority of my time in developing my personal artwork.
I’ve previously produced large canvas works with acrylics and mixed media but given my intensive design experience with

2D digital media, I’ve made digital creations my primary method of artistic expression.

Sadly, the arrival of AI applications / engines have been used to focused on mimicking artistic creativity in both visual and performing arts as well as music instead of having a primary focus on creating scientific and medical discovery for humanity!

Generative AI is NOT part of the "human artistic experience"

And all AI creations should be watermarked as such for having scraped, stolen and learnt from scrutinising human creations !
